The hero project
The Hero Project is a series of novels based on the idea of superheroes.
In the year 3025, a woman by the name of DaMeChip created the MeChip, a device that is implanted inside of you that is like a personal tablet that talks. Kinda like JARVIS, basically. It helps with navigation and communication, as it projects holograms of the person you're talking to. Along with that, humans started to develop Powers, the theory of this being that due to the MeChip replacing regular human everyday things, such as using a phone or laptop. This caused a reaction in human evolution, causing humans to develop powers based on their personality and what they're exposed to. In this story we follow the story of 18 year old Dagran Queen, who's life was fine until his superhero parents, The Sound and The Fury, accidentally killed a super-villainess named Miss Artillery when he was twelve. A man by the name of Judge Victon, who was against the idea of Powered humans, took this opportunity to enforce his new Anti-Powered Campaign; Normally heroes like Dagran's parents at their level would only be sentenced to community service, but Judge Victon took it a little too far to wrongly sentencing them to lifetime containment in The Devoid, the ultimate prison for Powered heroes. On his graduation day, Dagran takes it upon himself to become an A-List hero, clear his family name, and bring justice to his city.
